Legend of Zelda: An RPG to the Past
Great Fairy's Sword
Aura moderate conjuration and abjuration; CL 17th; Weight 5 lbs.; Price 98,500
This +2 nullifying living-steel greatsword grants its wielder the ability to attack incorporeal creatures. Those creatures cannot wield the sword if it is dropped, and will bestow upon their willing touch one negative level. Any Evil creature that attempts to wield this sword will be bestowed three negative levels. Attacks against evil creatures deal an additional +1d6, on top of any previous damage.
The Great Fairy’s Sword may also store dispel magic or greater dispel magic. These can be discharged as a free action when the wielder of it confirms a critical hit. When the wielder does so, the bonus to the check made to dispel increases by an amount equal to the weapon’s enhancement bonus or the weapon’s critical multiplier (whichever is higher). If it confirms a critical hit while it is not currently storing a dispel magic or greater dispel magic spell, yet if the wielder has either spell prepared (or is a spontaneous caster able to cast either spell), they may cast either spell into the weapon as a swift action and then immediately discharge it into the target as a free action.
In addition to these effects, the sword grants you the understanding and ability to speak both Deku and Sylvan. You are granted a +2 bonus to Diplomacy with both Deku and Fey creatures.
